Students continue to participate in flight training, ground school, and simulator instruction to support the flight syllabus while studying aeronautical decision-making, aerodynamics of flight, aircraft systems, flight instruments, aircraft weight and balance, aircraft performance, weather theory and services, airport operations, airspace, navigation, and aeromedical factors.

Prerequisites

Prerequisite: Aircraft Pilot Training I (28731)

Students must be fifteen years of age.

Certification

Students will take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aeronautical knowledge written examination for a private pilot license.
