Students complete their study of Latin language structures by reading and analyzing adapted texts. Topics include: politics, law, country life, and city life in ancient Rome. Through examining patterns in Latin root words, students make connections and deepen their understanding of language. Toward the end of the course, students transition from adapted texts to reading authentic Latin works written by Roman authors.
