Students continue to develop cultural awareness, comprehension and production skills, and emphasizes a variety of sentence structures in American Sign Language (ASL) with a continued focus on interactive communicative competence. This course provides students with the opportunity to become skilled in ASL conversational fluency while developing an understanding and awareness of the culture, heritage, and civic values of the U.S. Deaf community.
