Social Skills

<p>The Social Skills class offers secondary student the opportunity to acquire and practice skills that are necessary for appropriate social interactions with others. Skills to be taught may include communicating with others, perspective taking, self-determination, working with groups, coping strategies for stress and frustration, and understanding the “unwritten rules” for social behavior. Relates organizational and self-advocacy skills will also be covered.</p>
