This course provides college credit and is equivalent to those of an introductory year in economics at the college freshman level, Students enrolled in this course will take a semester of Macroeconomics which focuses on a thorough understanding of the principles of economics that apply to an economic system. In addition, students will take a semester of Microeconomics which focuses on the principles of economics that apply to the functions of individual decision makers, both consumers and producers within the economic system. Successful completion of this course will meet the Economics and Personal Finance graduation requirement for students.
