Students explore how markets operate, how supply and demand influence prices, and how economic decisions impact local, national, and global economies. The course also emphasizes personal financial literacy, including earning income, budgeting, saving, investing, managing credit, and making responsible financial decisions.
Throughout the course, students apply economic concepts to real-world situations, including analyzing current events and evaluating personal financial choices. Instruction focuses on building practical skills and understanding through discussions, activities, and problem-solving tasks.
