In this first Latin course, students are introduced to the language and life of the ancient Romans. Students learn to read simple Latin texts and adapted stories with expression and enjoyment. Topics include: home and family, city life, entertainment, and education in ancient Rome. Students learn basic vocabulary patterns and language structures by making connections to modern languages, including English.
